His subjects include nudes, urban and rural landscapes as well as interiors and skyscapes. Dean's portfolio of recent works, including those for sale and sold are included in his portfolio.

His style is figurative and has a strong sense of composition with a soft focus, giving his art a dream like quality.
“I like to portray a sense of intrigue or a moment in time that conjures up emotions or memories.
My paintings involve the viewer, allowing them to make connections as they may arise.”

Dean's artworks are represented in private and corporate collections in Australia, South Africa and the United States.

Dean has been in creative leadership roles for over 20 years, assisting a wide range of clients, such as the BT Financial Group, the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, Oroton International, the Mirvac Group, British Airways and Macquarie Bank.
